WORLD-FAMOUS OKANAGAN WINERIES

The Okanagan Valley has become one of North America's premier wine growing regions visited by thousands every year and with its local wines winning several worldwide competitions over the past few years. Most of the wineries in our immediate vicinity are listed below. Visitors truly enjoy the free tastings offered at all the wineries of the local wines (there may be a tasting charge from time to time, especially on icewines).

Calona Vineyards have been making wine since 1932 and feature a superb selection of award-winning VQA table, late-harvest and ice wines. Tours and wine tastings are offered to the general public.
Cedar Creek Estate Winery
5445 Lakeshore Rd.
Kelowna, BC
A family-owned and operated winery located just south of Kelowna, this winery offers wonderful lake views and great wines.
Gray Monk Cellars
1055 Camp Road
Okanagan Centre, BC

This splendid Winery is just a few minutes' drive north of Kelowna. Gray Monks offers a breaktaking view of the lake. Browse through their complete library of every vintage ever produced there.
Hainle Vineyard Estate Winery
Peachland, B.C.

Walter Hainle bought this land in 1972, studied winemaking in Germany and began his winery. He was the first person to make ice wine in Canada when he made an experimental batch in 1973. His 1978 ice wine was the country's first commercially available ice wine.
House Of Rose Vineyards
2270 Garner Road
Kelowna, BC.
This winery is easily accessed from Hwy 33. It offers visitors excellent wines and a great tour explaining the process of winemaking, from vine to wine. House of Rose is well-known for its winter wine, a desert wine whose grapes are picked late in the fall.
Mission Hill Estate Winery
1730 Mission Hill Rd.
Westbank, BC
This award winning winery offers a captivating tour of its massive cellars. Crowning its facade is a 140-foot, 12-storey bell tower, complete with four cast bronze bells from France. Its location offers a spectacular view of Okanagan Lake.
Mount Boucherie Estate Winery ,Westbank, B.C. This is one of British Columbia's newest wineries, with a growing reputation for fine wines. It currently produces approximately 10,000 cases of wine per year, including reds, whites as well as dessert and icewines.
Pinot Reach Cellars This captivating winery is located on the southwestern slope of East Kelowna and enjoys a picturesque view of the vineyard, of Kelowna and of Okanagan Lake. This is one of British Columbia's oldest commercial vineyards.
Quails' Gate Estate Winery
3303 Boucherie Road
Westbank, BC
The oldest Kelowna-area pioneer log cabin, 120 years old, houses this wineries shop- come sample and enjoy their highly-acclaimed wines.
St. Hubertus Estate Winery
5225 Lakeshore Road
Kelowna, BC
St. Hubertus is the oldest vineyard in B.C. It was one of the few wineries gravely threatened during the Kelowna fires, losing two outbuildings and a few scorched vines. Its famous "fire photo" has garnered it worldwide attention.
Slamka Cellars Rising high from the Okanagan Valley, Slamka Cellars is a 23-acre winery located on the slopes above Mt Boucherie. The vines get early morning to late afternoon sun. The vineyard includes some of the oldest Auxerrious vines in the Okanagan.
